TYLA TAKES A LEAP WITH "JUMP"

FAX/Epic's Tyla has taken a leap following her smash single “Water”; after the release of the South African artist's self-titled debut album—which opened at #24, a milestone for a female African artist—Tyla’s “Jump” f/Gunna & Skillibeng is breaking globally.

The track is among the most-viral cuts at TikTok, generating north of 100k creations since arriving on 3/22. “Jump” entered Spotify’s global 200 for the first time on 4/8, with the track charting in Europe, Africa and Australia. Another sign of approval: “Jump” has surpassed Tyla’s Grammy-winning “Water” on U.K. and South African charts, making it the clear choice as the follow-up to "Water."

How soon might U.S. fans jump on the “Jump” trend? Stay tuned. In the meantime, Epic President Ezekiel Lewis is jumping for joy.
