George Strait recently held his 11th annual Vaqueros del Mar golf tournament and benefit concert at the Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort to raise funds for the Feherty's Troops First Foundation, which aids wounded military personnel.
Hosted with longtime friend and business partner Tom Cusick, the country music legend raised $1.7m, including a $25k donation from the resort, which Strait co-owns with Cusick. For more info about Troops First Foundation, click here.
Pictured without their nine irons are (l-r) Strait, FTFF’s Thomas Capel, Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort’s Managing Director, Caleb DuBose, and Director of Sales & Marketing, Jonathan Falloon, FTFF’s Co-Founder David Feherty and Cusick.
