Vanner/RCA Nashville star Miranda Lambert has released her high anticipated album Wildcard last Friday (11/1). In conjunction with the seventh studio LP, Behind Miranda Lambert’s Wildcard dropped as an Apple Music exclusive original short film today (11/4), documenting the making of the album.
In the teaser below, Lambert discusses her roots, her writing process, and her inspiration for the album. “Country it’s what I do, it’s who I am — but I love rock and roll,” Lambert tells Apple Music. Also featured in the film are album producer Jay Joyce and co-writers Natalie Hemby, Ashley Monroe, Luke Dick and The Love Junkies’ Liz Rose, Lori McKenna and Hillary Lindsey.
Wildcard, which includes single “It All Comes Out in the Wash,” was the most pre-added country album by a female artist on Apple Music of all time. You can watch the teaser for Behind Miranda Lambert’s Wildcard below and check out the full short film on Apple Music here.
