It was a solid impact week for J Cole's “Middle Child” (Dreamville/RN/Interscope), with 42 stations out of the box. Kiana Lede's “Ex” (Republic) also has a healthy showing, grabbing 27 adds. Marshmello and Roddy Ricch's “Project Dreams” (Joytime Collective/WBR) has a strong second week, getting 11 new commitments, while Interscope’s Ella Mai scoops up 9 more stations with "Shot Clock" (10 Summers).
Post Malone & Swae Lee's “Sunflower” (Interscope-Republic) holds down the #1 spot for a second week, but look for Khalid's “Better” (RCA) to make a strong push for the top in the coming weeks. Lil Baby & Gunna's “Drip Too Hard” (QC/Motown/Capitol) and Post Malone's “Wow” (Republic) are both surging inside the Top 10. City Girls' “Twerk”
f/ Cardi B (QC/Motown/Capitol) and Ariana Grande's “7 Rings” (Republic) will both have impressive gains. Look for a number of debuts this week, including J Cole's “Middle Child” (Dreamville/RN/Interscope), Sneakk's “Spray” (Def Jam) and Zhavia Ward's “Candlelight” f/ Jeremih (Columbia).
It was a very tight race this week for Most Added, with five records that posted up 20 adds or more. Marshmello & Roddy Ricch's “Project Dreams” (Joytime Collective/Warner Bros.) grabbed 23 adds for the win, just edging out Ella Mai's “Shot Clock” (10 Summers/Interscope) which landed 21 adds. Interscope also closed 15 early adds for J Cole's “Middle Child” (Dreamville/RN).
12 new stations are in on Metro Boomin's “Space Cadet” f/ Gunna (Republic). And finally, Ariana Grande's “7 Rings” (Republic) and Kid Ink's “Yuso” (RCA) both had solid clean-up weeks.
The Top 5 will stay fairly intact this week, with the exception being RCA’s Khalid moving to #4 with "Better." Post Malone's “Wow” (Republic) will enter the Top 10, while Gesaffelstein & The Weeknd's “Lost In The Fire” (Columbia-Republic) will be inside the Top 20. Look for 21 Savage's “A Lot” f/ J Cole (Slaughter Gang/Epic) as well as City Girls' “Twerk” f/ Cardi B (QC/Motown/Capitol) to have 300+ spin gains. Ariana Grande's “7 Rings” (Republic), Kid Ink's “Yuso” f/ Lil Wayne & Saweetie (RCA) and Tory Lanez' “Ferris Wheel” f/ Trippie Redd (Mad Love/Interscope) will all debut this week.
