Q&A ADDS TWO FOR TECH

Q&A has added Charlie Kim as Senior Software Engineer and Maria Gironas as Director of Video Platform Strategy. Kim previously served as a lead developer for Hulu, while Gironas was a Strategic Partner Manager on YouTube's Artist Development team.

“I have always been interested in technologies igniting the evolution of the entertainment industry,” said Kim. “This is an incredible opportunity for me to build an infrastructure to evolve the music industry alongside Troy Carter and the Q&A team.”

“I’m honored to be joining Q&A to continue my passion for artist development,” commented Gironas. “The team Suzy Ryoo, J. Erving, and Troy have assembled not only share an artist first mentality, but a contagious hustle that excites me for all the amazing work we’ll be accomplishing as a team.”

The pair have now been tasked with making that little squiggly thing on the bosses' phones go away.

THE BALL STREET JOURNAL

I haven’t seen it happen before. A record hangs around the top of the chart and is able to be #1 four different times! I don’t know if RCA’s Chris Brown “No Guidance” f/Drake is THAT good, or if the other power and sub power rotation records just aren’t worthy of replacing it? One thing’s for sure, Inca and Lori G will gladly take it! They also have his current single “Heat” enter the top 15 this week. It was up 430 spins. Normani's “Motivation” had a solid week, gaining 160 spins, and climbing to #32. They debut Doja Cat's “Juicy” at #34 this week, thanks in large part to a 240 spin increase. Rotimi's “Love Riddem” is still developing.

Def Jam’s Noah Sheer sees Big Sean's “Bezerk” f/A$AP Ferg move inside the top 25, gaining another 205 spins. Danileigh's “Easy” has a 155 spin jump, and puts her at #28 this week. They are impacting Teyana Taylor's “How You Want It” this week. It's already at #53 on the chart.

Gary Spangler and Davey Dee at Republic see Lil Tecca's “Ransom” move #6-4, and is getting ready for the #1 run. It was up 370 spins this week. Ariana Grande & Social House's “Boyfriend” climbs to #11, after a 210 spin jump. Post Malone's “Enemies” explodes this week, to the tune of a 940 spin increase! He moves #34-16. His other single “Circles” enters the top 20 this week as well. Emotional Oranges' “Personal” moves to #36, up 40 spins. They impacted the new Lil Tecca “Did It Again” last week. It is up 180 spins, and is a few weeks away from a debut.

Over at Interscope, Nino Cuccinello sees DaBaby's “Babysitter” climb #24-18. He is up 190 spins, and is also moving nicely at Urban. Mustard's “Ballin” is also a solid gainer, seeing another 200 spins added to his total. Swae Lee's “Won’t Be Late” f/Drake comes in at #26 this week, while DJ Snake's “Loco Contigo” sees a 100 spin increase, and lands at #31 this week. They are impacting Summer Walker's “Playing Games” this week.

Capitol’s Dixie Tipton has a break out week with Layton Greene's “Leave Em Alone”. It gains 360 spins, and moves to #21. She also debuts QC/Lil Baby/DaBaby's “Baby” this week at #37. It gains 235 spins, and is picking up new stations each week.

Over at Warner, Lee L’Heureux has an amazing week with Wale's “On Chill”. It is up 530 spins, and leaps to #13.

Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson at Epic welcome DJ Khaled's “Wish Wish” f/Cardi B and 21 Savage inside the top 10. It was up 350 spins, and now looks to go top 5. They released a new French Montana entitled “Writing On The Wall” as well as a new Yo Gotti “Pose” f/Lil Uzi Vert this past Friday.

Columbia’s John Strazza and James White did a bang up job at taking Lil Nas X's “Panini” to the next level. It was up an amazing 670 spins this week, and moves to #8! It also had a break through week at top 40. Y2K's “LaLaLa” continues to stream and is at #46 at Rhythm. There is a new Lil TJay “F.N” as well as a new Polo G “Through Da Storm” that will be impacting soon.
