THE BALL STREET JOURNAL

A big congratulations goes out to Lee L’Heureux and Warner on their #1 record with Saweetie's “My Type”. It was up 540 spins this week, and moves #3-1. It was a steady builder, taking 16 weeks to get here. Lee also has Wale's “On Chill” up 410 spins, and climbing to #17. This one is also looking like a potential #1 record at Urban.

And believe it or not, the next record to go to #1 next week may be RCA’s Chris Brown for the fourth time! I don’t ever recall in all my years a record doing that. They also have Khalid's “Right Back” climbing #14-11, gaining 165 spins. Chris Brown's “Heat” was up an even 500 spins this week, and he moves to #21. Normani's “Motivation” has an impressive week, gaining 155 spins, and inching up to #38. Doja Cat's “Juicy” just misses a debut, coming in at #42 this week. It was up 245 spins, and is a lock to debut this coming week. They have Gashi's “Safety” f/DJ Snake that is taking airplay now.

Republic’s Gary Spangler and Davey Dee continue to drive Lil Tecca's “Ransom” towards the top 5. He is at #6 this week, after gaining 330 spins. The label is NOT done with “Ransom”, but because of the huge consumption numbers on “Did It Again”, they are starting to take early adds and airplay this week. Ariana Grande & Social House's “Boyfriend” takes a nice leap on the chart to #12, after posting a 145 spin increase. Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello's “Señorita” holds at #23, while Post Malone's “Circles” is now top 25, gaining 350 spins as his other track, “Enemies” is up 765 spins, and debuts at #34. Emotional Oranges' “Personal” comes in at #39 this week.

Columbia’s John Strazza and James White did a fantastic job in taking Lil Nas X's “Panini” to the next level. After a few slow weeks, it kicked in with research and the streams continued to be impressive. It enters the top 10, thanks to a healthy 290 spin increase! They are impacting a new Tyga f/YG track entitled “Mamacita”, as well as a Sweedish House Mafia f/A$AP Rocky's “Lifetime”.

Interscope’s Nino Cuccinello sees DaBaby's “Baby Sitter” f/Offset at #24, up 110 spins this week. Swae Lee's “Won’t Be Late” f/Drake holds at #27, and gains 70 spins. Mustard's “Ballin” sees a healthy 180 spin jump, allowing the record to hold at #30. DJ Snake & J Balvin's “Loco Contigo” continues to pick up new believers each week. It gains 135 spins, and is at #35 this week. They just impacted Arin Ray's “Change” last week, and it is up 120 spins. It looks to be a few weeks away from a debut.

Capitol’s Dixie Tipton has another impressive week with Layton Greene's “Leave Em Alone”. It is up 250 spins, and moves to #28. Quality Control f/Lil Baby & DaBaby's “Baby” is still developing each week. It is up 150 spins, and is a week or so away from a debut.

Noah Sheer and Def Jam had a bit of a breakthrough week with Danileigh's “Easy”. Research kicked in at some stations, and she was up an even 100 spins. She is currently at #32. Big Sean's “Bezerk” f/A$AP Ferg sees another 270 spins added to his total, and moves to #31. They are impacting Teyana Taylor's “How Do You Want It” this week.
