Damaris Rex-Taylor, left, and Stacey Tang have been promoted at RCA U.K.
Sony U.K. has promoted Stacey Tang to EVP and Damaris Rex-Taylor to GM at RCA U.K. The promotions arrive after work on successful campaigns for artists such as Little Mix and Bring Me The Horizon.
Tang, who reports to label President David Dollimore, has played a central role in the label’s success since joining RCA as MD in 2018. During that time, she's worked with Paloma Faith, Sam Fischer, Miley Cyrus, Kid LAROI and Lil Nas X, alongside those mentioned above.
Rex-Taylor, who joined RCA U.K. as Director of Marketing in 2019 and reports to Tang, will now oversee marketing and promotional strategies for the label. Successful campaigns she has worked on include Little Mix’s sixth U.K. Top 5 album, Bring Me The Horizon’s second U.K. #1 album and Mimi Webb’s recent singles.
Dollimore called Tang “a trailblazer with phenomenal business acumen who brings relentless energy to the label and consistently propels artists to achieve success.”
Rex-Taylor, he said, “is an innovative marketeer who has delivered time and again and we all share the same aspirations for the future of RCA. I’m delighted to have them help steer this iconic label to achieve cultural and creative success on a global scale.”
