Michael Ball and Alfie Boe have landed at #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums chart with Together at Christmas (Decca) on 33,000 sales. Over on singles, Ariana Grande holds on to the top spot for a fifth consecutive week.
Together at Christmas is Ball & Boe’s third joint album to reach #1. Of those 33,000 sales, 96% were physical.
BTS’ BE (Big Hit) settles for second place at #2, followed by Taylor Swift’s Folklore (EMI), which rebounds to #4 from #36 following its release on vinyl.
Two more releases debut inside this week’s Top 10: Neil Diamond and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Classic Diamonds (UMG) at #5, and the Iron Maiden live album Nights of the Dead—Legacy of the Beast (Parlophone) lands at #7.
