U.K. MIDWEEKS: STARS SHOOT TO #1
4/27/20

BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge Allstars are at the top of the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks with Foo Fighters cover “Times Like These” (BBC). Over on albums, producer and jazz instrumentalist duo Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes are challenging Dua Lipa for the top spot.

Proceeds from the sales of “Times Like These,” featuring Lipa, Dave Grohl, Chris Martin, Jess Glynne and many more, will go to BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief. Should the track hold onto its midweek peak, it will be the second charity single to top the chart in as many weeks. It’s a close race, though: The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” (Island) sits just 5.3k combined sales behind at #2.

The highest new entry today is The 1975's “If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)” (Polydor/Dirty Hit) at #7, followed by rapper KSI f/Swarmz & Tion Wayne’s “Houdini” (RBC/BMG), starting at #11.
