Selena Gomez is vying for #1 with “Lose You to Love Me” (Polydor) on the U.K.’s Official Singles midweek chart while Stereophonics leads an all-new Top 5 at albums with Kind (Parlophone) ahead by 14k combined chart sales. Gomez is likely to land two tracks in the Top 20.

Should Kind stay on track for #1 by Friday, the album will become Stereophonics’ seventh chart-topper.

Rick Astley’s greatest hits collection, The Best of Me (BMG), is #2 while James Blunt is heading toward his highest charting album in six years with Once Upon a Mind (Atlantic) at #3.
