The And the Writer Is podcast, produced and co-owned by Big Deal songwriter Joe London and hosted by Ross Golan, brings the songwriter together with fellow tunesmiths to discuss about the ins and outs of working in the biz. Episode 1 features Benny Blanco, and subsequent installments feature Savan Kotecha, J Kash and Sean Douglas. The podcast, exec-produced by Big Deal Music and Mega Music House, has quickly joined some of the hottest podcasts on the iTunes and Google charts, and has garnered more than 18.5k downloads. Best of all, it's earning major props from the songwriting community. Kenny MacPherson, Mark Tindle and pals are working on their own version of a podcast, only instead of using microphones they're using wine, and instead of talking about it they're drinking it.
