It often takes a village, in the pub world, to make a giant. UMPG and Sony/ATV share in the Grammy Song of the Year, Adele’s “Hello.” While the House of Jody claims the megastar (also Record and Album winner, among other things, and maker of speeches that cause the most jaded of viewers to blubber) and co-writers Tobias Jesso, Jr., and Phillip Lawrence, Planet Marty has “Hello” co-writer and Producer of the Year Greg Kurstin, who really shouldn’t have been played off before getting to speak the first time—though Adele fixed that too. Kurstin co-wrote and produced three songs on Album of the Year 25, btw, while fellow SATV tunesmith Paul Epworth co-penned two.

As for the bigs, by our calculations, Sony/ATV is connected to 28 Grammys, Warner/Chappell 22 and UMPG 17.
