TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

What’s poppin’ on the Shazam USA Top 100? Well, it’s the remix of Jack Harlow’s single with Lil Wayne, DaBaby and Tory Lanez. Will Ferrell’s Netflix spoof of the Eurovision Song Contest has thumbs wagging on both sides of the Atlantic.

It’s one of four new releases among the biggest movers on the Shazam USA Top 100, coming in ahead of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Girls in the Hood” (1501 Certified/300), “Husavik” (Arista) from Ferrell & My Marianne, and Anderson .Paak’s “Lockdown” (Aftermath/12 Tone).

Tyler Childers’ 2017 release “Lady May” (Hickman Holler/Thirty Tigers) lands on the list after a synch on Netflix’s Purgatory.

Eurovision Song Contest is responsible for the two biggest movers in the U.K.: Ferrell’s & My Marianne's “Husavik” and Sigur Ros’ “Hoppipolla,” which first appeared on the Icelandic band’s 2005 album Takk… Released as a single back in the day, the songs owes some of its popularity to its use on the BBC’s Planet Earth show in 2006; it was used again in 2016 in Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II.
