TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Remember when electroclash was a thing? Well, the music folks at HBO’s Westworld obviously do by using a nearly 20-year-old Fischerspooner track that is this week’s biggest mover on the Shazam USA Top 100.

The track, “Emerge,” was the first single from Fischerspooner’s debut album, #1, which was released independently in 2001 and on Capitol in 2003. It’s one of four synchs among the Top 5 movers, two of which benefited from placement on Insecure.

Blood Orange f/Tinashe’s “Tuesday Feeling (Choose to Stay)” (Domino) and Mereba f/JID’s “Sandstorm” (Interscope) got thumbs wagging after appearing in early episodes of season 4 of Issa Rae’s HBO series. Saba’s “Life” lands on the list after a synch on FXX’s Dave.

The TikTok hit from Soundcloud beat-maker Jawsh 685, “Laxed,” also lands among the biggest movers in the U.S. and the U.K.

Meanwhile, the biggest hit of London Grammar’s career, 2013’s “Strong” (Columbia), shoots straight to #1 on the Shazam UK Top 100 after running over the close of BBC1’s The Nest.
