Ahmet Zappa is launching a new monthly talk show, Rocktails, starting this Thursday (12/12) on SiriusXM’s Volume (Channel 106). The musician, YA novelist, screenwriter, producer and son of Frank (he’s also the executor of the Zappa Family Trust) will be joined by co-hosts Brendan Smith and Richard Scheltinga as they discuss music with friends. The first episode will feature The Cult’s Ian Astbury.
“I look forward to sharing my unique point of view with all the Volume listeners and hope their seat belts are fastened for the insanity that is Rocktails,” Ahmet teased. “Our show is all about having unfiltered conversations about my favorite thing to talk about—music—because music is the best.”
You can listen to the show on Volume Thursday at 9pm ET, or stream it anytime on the SiriusXM app and SiriusXM.com.
