Amazon Music is using The Beatles’ Abbey Road to build awareness for the HD service it launched in September. A 30-second spot, which debuted this week, following the posting of video interviews with Neil Young and Chris Stapleton, features the hook of “Come Together,” while the visuals include a guitar, bass, drumhead and a Neumann U48 mic, as well as the album cover.
Is there a demand for HD audio? Amazon seems to think so. Amazon Music HD is priced at $14.99 a month, or $12.99 for Prime members. A 30-day free trial is available.
