MAREN MORRIS' GIRL HAS A DATE

Columbia Nashville’s Maren Morris, who is nominated for five Grammys, will release her second album, Girl, on 3/8.

Her track featuring Brandi Carlile, “Common,” is being released today as an instant grat. Morris again worked with songwriter/producer busbee on 11 songs while Greg Kurstin co-produced three songs. The title track, released 1/17, set a record for most streams in a week by a female country artist, 3.3m plays. In a new Genius video, Morris explained the meaning of “Girl.”

Morris will perform on the Grammys on Sunday.
