GRIFFITHS GETS IT

Wendy Griffiths has been promoted to EVP of Synch & Creative Marketing at Position Music, President and CEO Tyler Bacon announced this morning.

The exec, who joined the L.A.-based company in 2016 as SVP of Creative Marketing, oversees the pitching, sales and licensing teams to secure synchs in advertising, film, TV, trailers and video games. It's worth noting that, during her first year, overall synch revenue grew by 40%. Meanwhile, at HITS, it's only a consistent loss of dignity that stands out amongst our yearly developments.

Griffiths previously worked at BMG as EVP of Licensing & Synch, and before that, was at Warner Bros., where she held the title of SVP Video Promotion and Production.

“I am proud to promote Wendy Griffiths," shared Bacon. "During her two years here she has worked hard and succeeded in helping to grow our revenue, optimize our music catalog and visibility and has also created a team environment fueled by her commitment to communication and working towards a common goal.”
