MOM+POP PUT 10 CANDLES ON THE CAKE

Mom+Pop will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a 10/22 concert at Brooklyn Steel featuring performances by Courtney Barnett, Alice Merton, Sleigh Bells, Sunflower Bean, Neon Indian, Tom Morello and others.

Tickets are on sale.

The label will also release a compilation box set, 10 Years of Mom+Pop, on 11/23 as part of Record Store Day Black Friday. The three-LP box set includes a greatest hits and more 20 covers and rarities by artists such as Barnett, Metric and Sleigh Bells. “Holly,” a previously unreleased song by Sleigh Bells from the 2010 Treats sessions, is available now with digital box set pre-order.

The company will also release a series of picture disc reissues in the fall.

“Our ambition has been and always will be to build a collaborative label with transparency and sincere respect for our artist's creative controls,” Founder Michael Goldstone and Co-President Thaddeus Rudd said in a statement.
