CHART STORY: THE SIX GOD'S SECOND WEEK

Drake has another commanding #1 this week with YMCMB/Republic set Scorpion, as the Six God scores with 325k and continues his reign over the HITS Top 50 Chart.

Republic labelmate Post Malone hops #3-2, tacking on another 71k for beerbongs & bentleys in the set’s 11th week out. Talk about stamina. It’s also worth noting that Posty’s got two albums in the Top 15; 2016’s Stoney can be found at #15 with 23k.

The highest-charting debut, however, belongs to Freebandz/Epic’s Future, whose streaming-only BEASTMODE 2 enters at #3 with 54k. The next-biggest bow comes from Meek Mill’s Legends of the Summer (Atlantic), which lands at #10 with around 27k.

As for the other noteworthy movers, Grade A/Interscope’s Juice WRLD and QC/Motown/Capitol’s Lil Baby—both streaming warriors—enjoy nice bumps. With 42k, Juice WRLD’s Goodbye & Good Riddance, which houses “Lucid Dreams,” the hit single that’s currently #4 on HITSStreaming Songs Chart, rises to #6. And with 27k, Lil Baby’s Harder Than Ever busts back into the Top 10, powered by the rapper’s Drake collaboration, “Yes Indeed”—now #12 on the Streaming Songs chart.

When it comes to marketshare, UMG is #1 with 66%, WMG follows with 20% and SME is #3 with 10%, while the indies claim 4%.

Streeting this week is Capitol’s soundtrack to the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again movie, which will hit theaters on Friday, 7/20. We now invite you to try and get the image of Steve Barnett twirling around to ABBA’s “Dancing Queen” out of your head. Good luck!
