Disney/Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War spends its third week at #1 becoming the second-fastest title to $500m at the domestic B.O. in 15 days, beating Star Wars: The Last Jedi by a day.
Two newcomers targeted to the Mother’s Day crowd landed at #2 and #3. The Melissa McCarthy comedy Life of the Party pulled in $18.2m and the low-budget ($6m) thriller Breaking In did an estimated $16.5m.
