DEADPOOL 2 DRAWS IN CELINE DION, DIPLO
New music from Celine Dion and a trio of Diplo, French Montana & Lil Pump lead off Columbia’s soundtrack for Deadpool 2. While that seems ripe for an Odd Couple joke, Celine and Diplo might have crossed paths in Las Vegas where both have residencies. C’mon, it’s possible.
The video for Dion’s “Ashes” was actually shot in Vegas— at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace where she has her residency. David Leitch is the director.
“Ashes,” which was released today, and “Welcome To The Party” by Diplo, French Montana, Lil Pump featuring Zhavia Ward headline the 12-track compilation that includes tracks from Peter Gabriel, Cher and DJ Shadow. Columbia will release the set on 5/18.
