Pandora has launched its El Pulso program, highlighting contemporary Latin artists that are breaking genre barriers. The program will leverage listening data, industry cues and current trends filling the El Pulso station and playlist with contemporary Latin music.
The program will primarily lead with Spanish music, but will also include English-language and bilingual content. Marcos Juarez, Head of Latin Music Programming, says “El Pulso focuses on Latin listeners from coast to coast, offering them music that’s fresh and hyper relevant by tapping into the contemporary Latin genres which span a multitude of diverse and rich cultures.”
Juarez added that Pandora plans to “foster discovery for new talent, with a cohesive thread centered in a pop aesthetic that ties the listening experience together.”
