YOU HEARD IT FIRST... ON SOUNDCLOUD


SoundCloud has launched the initial wave of its first-ever creator advertising campaign, First on SoundCloud, which will promote emerging talent by spotlighting 10 game-changing artists through new music, video and photography. Featured creators include Kehlani, Galimatias, Taylor Bennett, Lorine Chia, Melo Makes Music, Party Pupils, Jay Prince, Cathedrals, starRo and Witt Lowry.

That said, beginning today, all users have the ability to upload an original track for an opportunity to be heard as apart of First on SoundCloud. By tagging #SCFIRST, they have a chance to be included on the First on SoundCloud playlist, which appears on SoundCloud's homepage. The platform will also be randomly selecting creator tweets that use the tag to promote via their heavily followed socials.

In other "cloud" news, we just mistook our red pen for a weed pen and now it looks like we drunkenly applied lipstick.
