Warner Bros./DC Comics' Justice League failed to meet expectations by falling below $100m in week one, but it still managed to sail straight to the top of the domestic box office with approximately $96m.

Meanwhile, Lionsgate's Wonder, which stars Julia Roberts, Jacob Tremblay and Owen Wilson and is based on a N.Y. Times best-seller, impresses, debuting at #2 with around $27m. It also earned an 84% Rotten Tomatoes score (much better than Justice League's 39%).
