"HAVANA" HEAT WAVE

Camila Cabello (SYCO/Epic) has a major smash on her hands with "Havana" f/Young Thug. The track, breaking at radio now, is Top 5 streaming worldwide.

The success represents the first big Pop breakthrough released on Sylvia Rhone's watch since she assumed the top post at Epic, and follows on the heels of the chief's huge Urban breakout, 21 Savage. Cabello's newfound momentum will undoubtedly be a boon to the label's overall dynamic.

The track is Cabello's second since going solo; the first single, "Crying in the Club," failed to connect. How does having this hit change the circumstances of her prospective album release? How will her brand compare to that of her former group, Fifth Harmony?
