A LOLL IN LIVE NATION'S ACTION

Live Nation has brought in IPG Mediabrands COO Chris Loll as the first Chief Operating Officer of its Media & Sponsorship unit. He’s in charge of driving growth and devising new systems at the division.

Reporting to Global President Russell Wallach, Loll will lead all business operations while introducing new data, digital and live products for agencies and advertisers. He will also refine the business’ operations to accelerate the division’s overall growth and vision.

In making the announcement, Live Nation noted the media and sponsorship division saw second quarter revenue rise 31% and that more than 90% of planned sponsorship for the year is under contract.

“Chris has a proven track record reinvigorating corporate productivity and taking media and advertising businesses to new heights,” Wallach said.

Prior to IPG, Loll spent more than a decade at WPP, namely with Y&R, VML and Wunderman rising through the network ranks to lead offices in London and New York.
