Springsteen on Broadway, Bruce Springsteen’s fall run at the Walter Kerr Theater, will open 10/12 and close 11/26. Previews start 10/3, according to The New York Times. Now about tickets…
Obviously demand will be high for the 960 seats at the Kerr, and Ticketmaster will be using its new technology Verified Fan intended to eliminate bots and scalpers who buy in batches. Buyers have to register in advance—that process starts today and closes 8/27. Tickets are priced $75 to $850 and go on sale 8/30.
As for the show, Springsteen told the Times he will read from his autobiography Born to Run, offer other anecdotes and perform with just guitar or piano accompaniment. “It loosely follows the arc of my life and my work,” he said.
