EVERYBODY DO THE TYMINSKI

At a Nashville event for Tyminski, the following people considered going by just their last names as a way of cementing their legendary status: Triple 8's Paul Steele, Universal Music Nashville chief Mike Dungan and President Cindy Mabe, Tyminski and Triple 8's George Couri, Kaitlin Harper and Bruce Kalmick.

The vibey multimedia presentation of the Tyminski project—produced by Jesse Frasure and due later this year—showcased new work by the Grammy-winning veteran singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist (first name: Dan) best known for his vocal on "Man of Constant Sorrow," the smash from O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and his contribution to Allison Krauss + Union Station, of which he's been a member for 25 years. The audience was a who's who of Music City machers, including CMA CEO Sarah Trahern, WME's Jay Williams, CMT's Leslie Fram and Jon Hamlin and Opry Entertainment's Steve Buchanan.
