FOOS, ARCADE FIRE BUST OUT NEW SINGLES

Two of alternative rock’s biggest names are back in action. Dave Grohl has released a new Foo Fighters single, “Run,” with practically no advance notice (check out the video below). And Arcade Fire's first track since signing a worldwide deal with Columbia Records U.K. gets its worldwide release today at 2:30pm ET/11:30am PT. The single, "Everything Now," will premiere and be featured on iHeart Alternative stations. They also announced a tour (details below).

Arcade Fire also announced their North American Infinite Content tour, produced by Live Nation, which starts 9/5 in Quebec City. Wolf Parade, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Phantogram, Angel Olsen and Broken Social Scene are the opening acts.

Pre-sales begin Tuesday; general sales start 6/9. Columbia will release Arcade Fire’s fifth album, Everything Now, on 6/28.Arcade Fire will start its tour in Europe this weekend at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona.
