Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. (TDE/Interscope) has surpassed 200m streams and is on its way to a possible 300m first-week number. While Drake’s record of 385m first-week streams of More Life (YMCMB/Republic) is safe, DAMN. had already sold more albums with three days to go in the chart week. This puts Lamar in a tight race for the year’s top debut, currently held by More Life with 505k. We’ll update daily as the race tightens. Here’s how things look at midweek:
