FUTURE FLOATS TO A NEW BANDWIDTH ON BEATS 1

Longtime Apple Music player Future, whose mixtape collaboration with Drake, What A Time To Be Alive, was one of the hottest exclusive moments for the service in 2015, announced today that he will launch his own Beats 1 radio show at 5pm GMT/12pm PST. His new album, Future, is due out on Epic/Freebandz on 2/17.

Future will host the program alongside partner DJ Esco; this is significant since the latter had recently forged his own solo career as a producer/artist after DJing exclusively for Future Hendrix on tour.

The first episode of "FBG RADIO" will feature an in-depth interview with Zane Lowe, who will dig in to the Atlanta rapper's experiences as an underground artist in the South—the blueprint of which was chronicled in the 2015 documentary, Like I Never Left— and of course, preview details about his upcoming, self-titled album.
