FLIPOVER FRIDAY: ITUNES AND APPLE MUSIC NEW ARRIVALS

Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller ascends straight to #1 on iTunes upon the release of his fifth album The Divine Feminine. It’s his first release for Warner Bros. proper and one of seven new titles in iTunes’ Top 10.

Staind’s Aaron Lewis' second step into country music, Sinner on Dot, takes a knee at #2 followed by Christian act Casting Crowns’ The Very Next Thing (Provident/Sony).

Usher’s first album in four years, Hard II Love (RCA), opens at #4, while the latest Loma Vista EP from Swedish black metal act Ghost, Popestar, debuts at #6. They’d probably be happier at #666, but this is good for now).

Edgy South African electronic/rap duo Die Antwood sees their Mount Ninji and da Nice Time Kid (Zef) sliding in at #7. Taking Back Sunday’s Tidal Wave (Hopeless) is #9.

Little is new at Apple Music as Travis Scott continues to dominate the songs and album charts.
