Farag, Sheer, Rothschild upped.

DEF JAM UPS
PROMO TRIO

The promo department at Steve Bartels' Def Jam has upped three key players. Nicki Farag, Keith Rothschild and Noah Sheer ascend to SVPs of overall promo, Pop and Rhythm/Crossover & Dance, respectively, reporting to EVP Promo Rick Sackheim.

Farag has been at Def Jam since 2003, ascending to VP in 2014. Rothschild has been VP Top 40 since 2013, and previously served at Warner Bros. for 15 years. Sheer has been part of the label family since 2000, when he began as Mid-Atlantic Regional Promotion Manager; he became VP Top 40 at Island Def Jam in 2008.

“Noah, Nicki and Keith have all shown tremendous value to Def Jam and our incredible roster of hit-makers,” said Sackheim. “Individually, each of them are leaders in their field of expertise, but together they show a force of leadership unparalleled in promotion. I am proud to see their growth and development as executives." He added that each puts a unique inflection on the phrase "Hey Buddy."
