007 DAY IS HERE: WATCH SAM SMITH'S BOND VIDEO

To mark the 53rd anniversary of the theatrical release of the first James Bond film Dr. No in 1962, the full video for Sam Smith's Spectre theme "Writing's on the Wall" was unveiled today at 00.07 GMT.

Directed by Luke Monaghan, the clip shows Smith in various locations in Rome, where Spectre was filmed, interspersed with scenes from the film.

"Writing's on the Wall" (released via Capitol) became the first Bond theme song ever to score a #1 last week in Britain. Spectre will be released in the U.K. on 10/26 and in the U.S. on 11/6.
