Backstage at her recent acoustic benefit, RCA Nashville's Miranda Lambert greets Sony Nashville's new Chairman/CEO, Randy Goodman, EVP/COO Ken Robold and EVP Steve Hodges. The group recalled the "saladgate" controversy, and how comparing female artists to tomatoes is ridiculous, with Lambert noting that if being compared to lettuce is the alternative, maybe a new analogy is in order. Then everybody enjoyed some BBQ.
Lambert performed an acoustic version of her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour set at Nashville venue 3rd and Lindsley on 7/28, with proceeds going to establish the Miranda Lambert Women Creators Fund, a scholarship for women seeking careers in the music biz.
