In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Cherrytree Music Company has taken over PUBLIC Chicago ffor five days of live music, meet-and-greets, album signings, film screenings, staff Q&As and more.

"Having spent years growing up in the Midwest (Michigan), the rhythm of the culture there shaped me and, in turn, the independent and inclusive spirit of Cherrytree. So, no 10th Anniversary celebration would be complete without festivities in Chicago, the capital of the Midwest," shared CEO Martin Kierszenbaum.

"What’s more, it’s important to us—during #CherrytreeChicago week—to not only present Cherrytree artists and their music but also to allow time and opportunity for interaction with - and input from - the musicians and music lovers of Chicago."

And that's not all. The label recently held the The Cherrytree 10th Anniversary Concert Special, featuring performances from Ivy Levan, Jukebox the Ghost, Secret Someones and The Last Bandoleros, at Webster Hall in NYC. A screening of that event will premiere at PUBLIC this week. It will also air on an array of local Chi-town TV channels (pasted below).
