Durrani Steps Into Top-Tier Role
He’s worked in the management, live entertainment and label worlds. Now Faisel Durrani is on board at Def Jam as EVP/GM, reporting to label boss Steve Bartels.
Among other posts, Durrani previously served as President of Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment. Prior to that, he spent five years at Live Nation, where he was President of Marketing and SVP Touring Operations—and hooked up global deals for Rihanna, Kanye West, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and other stars.
He served at Island Def Jam as SVP and then EVP of international marketing, so his new post is a homecoming of sorts.
