HEAR HIM RAURY

Atlanta Artist Rolls Out Burning

Atlanta singer-songwriter Raury is one of Columbia's freshest signings and definitely among the most exciting new artists on the verge, recently landing at #4 in BBC's Sound of 2015.

Instead of releasing slick videos stuffed with luxury goods and superstar co-signs like so many of his other peers, 18-year-old Raury teamed up with writer Carlon Ramong and director John Merizalde to create a Public Service announcement to bring a message to his generation about their preoccupation with the smartphone.

Using the stirring sounds of "Seven Suns," from his extraordinary debut EP Indigo Child Project, "PSA (Seven Suns)" is a satire on the world mobile technology & social media has created, one of human detachment. In the video Raury and LoveRenaissance employ vigilante tactics to shake the kids out of their zombie-like cel stupors.

Indigo Child Project is now available for streaming and purchase on Spotify and iTunes; Raury has upcoming live dates in New Orleans, Austin, Dallas and DC.
