TOUR OR BUST

AC/DC’s Summer/Fall Stadium Arcadium

Fresh off their suitably deafening opening performance at the Grammys, AC/DC have broken out the details for the North American leg of their Rock or Bust World Tour, which follows a series of European dates this spring and summer.

The run, which puts the hard-rock avatars primarily in stadiums, kicks off 8/22 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., and winds up on the West Coast, hitting AT&T Stadium in S.F. 9/27 and Dodger Stadium 9/28. Prior to the tour, AC/DC will headline Coachella on 4/10 and 4/17.

Chris Slade, the band’s drummer in the late ’80s and early ’90s, was back behind the kit for the Grammys and will do the entire tour, the band said. Slade is standing in for Phil Rudd, who’s awaiting trial on charges of threatening to kill and possession of meth and pot back home in New Zealand. Rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, who’s suffering from dementia, was previously replaced by his nephew, Stevie Young.

Ducats can will be available at Ticketmaster next week.
