VERY INTER-ESTING: Interpol spread an intriguing tease yesterday. “We're stirring,” the message read. “Please take a moment to visit our website: www.interpolnyc.com. We want to show you something. And make sure you come back soon.” So we clicked and found a free MP3 of the track “Lights” from the group’s eagerly anticipated upcoming album. Turns out it’s the lead story on Pitchfork, Stereogum, nme.com and other big blogs, and there are a zillion tweets about it as well. So what are you waiting for? (4/30a)
