Macca Fingers EMI for Digital Snafu

MACCA FINGERS EMI FOR DIGITAL SNAFU: Paul McCartney is pointing the finger at EMI for the fact that The Beatles’ music is not yet available on iTunes. "It's been business hassles," McCartney recently told BBC Radio. "Not with us, or iTunes. It's the people in the middle, the record label. There have been all sorts of reasons why they don't want to do it." McCartney recently pulled his solo catalog from EMI and licensed it to Concord Records. Apple Corps., the Beatles' business entity, has long been considered the roadblock to the Beatles’ catalog, one of the last holdouts, being made available for digital distribution. (5/17p)
