IDOL HOPEFUL DREAMS ON: Asked by Page Six’s Dan Aquilante, "Can you be tough on a young singer?" rumored Idol replacement judge Steven Tyler replied, "I'm very judgmental of the guys in the band. I know when to say, 'Don't bore us—get to the chorus!' and I think I'd bring credibility to that forum if I was asked to do it." Oddly, the Post’s gossip posse hadn’t heard about Jennifer Lopez’s removal from the list of candidates, noting in the same item that Tyler would potentially “be joining Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez on the hit show's panel next season.” (8/12a)
