MONEY CHANGES EVERYTHING: Speaking of music industry lobbyists, the RIAA spent a whopping $1.398 million on lobbying initiatives during the last quarter alone, according to documents obtained by Digital Music News on Tuesday. Much of the money was used to press for passage of the Performance Royalty Act, along with file-sharing enforcement and net neutrality. (9/1a)
