Lenny crashes VMAs

LITTLE LYIN’ MAN: Killing time before the start of the Clippers’ preseason next month, our own Lenny Beer somehow made it through security and got into last night’s Video Music Awards (see lead story), somehow managing to convince security that he was Billboard Editor Craig Marks. Lenny then joined the drum circle for Eminem's opening number, beating on his own dome with a pair of two-by-fours he found backstage, resulting in a distinctive hollow sound. (9/13a)
