TICKET TO RIDE: In one of numerous events created in celebration of John Lennon’s 70th will birthday, the Thinking Man’s Beatle will be the subject of an exhibit at the Grammy Museum. The exhibit, “John Lennon, Songwriter,” being put on in association with Hard Rock International, begins Oct. 4, five days before Lennon’s birthday. It’ll include John’s Telecaster, his typewriter, iconic wire-framed glasses, drawings and handwritten lyrics and his Sgt. Pepper costume, among other neat-o items. Said Robert Santelli, the museum’s Executive Director: "Lennon's songs are as insightful and empowering as ever, and they continue to inspire and change the world. We are grateful to Yoko Ono for choosing the Grammy Museum as a temporary home to display some of these memorable and important pieces that illustrate the breadth of her late husband's extraordinary career."
