Ortner Tapped for JFK Post

ORTNER NAMED TO JFK POST: Proskauer Partner Chuck Ortner, co-head of the firm’s Entertainment Industry Group, has been named to the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts by President Barack Obama. The Kennedy Center, which opened in 1971, was designated by Congress as a “living memorial” to the late President. It awards the Kennedy Center Honors every year in a nationally televised event. Ortner reps some of the biggest music superstars in the business, including Lady Gaga, Madonna, U2, Green Day, Sting and the late Michael Jackson. He’s also legal counsel to the Recording Academy and a member of the Board of the Grammy Museum. (9/27p)
