Wilco Starts Own Label

WILCO’S INDIE ROOTS: Wilco has formed its own indie label, dBpm Records, which will release all future band recordings and other projects. The new imprint will be headquartered in Easthampton, MA, and run by the group's longtime manager Tony Margherita. ANTI- Records will provide distribution and additional services for all dBpm Records releases. The band’s first 2011 tour dates will start in May and include a stop at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, following a series of Jeff Tweedy solo dates. Wilco is now recording the follow-up to its Grammy-nominated 2009 relese, Wilco (The Album), at their Chicago recording studio, The Loft. (1/26p)
