NPR Live Webcast

NPR ME: Two of the hottest indie rock bands in the country, Best Coast and Wavves, can be heard on NPR Music tonight in a live webcast from Washington, D..C.’s 9:30 Club. The show begins at 9 p.m. ET with Wavves, before Best Coast takes the stage at 10:30 p.m. ET. San Diego-based Nathan Williams formed Wavves as a solo project in 2008, while girlfriend Beth Cosentino launched Best Coast with bandmate Bobb Bruno the year after. Both are punk-influenced, lo-fi, garage-rock proponents with plenty of critical kudos. Check out the show here. (1/31p)
