Wright added to EMI board

THE WRIGHT STUFF: Former NBC Universal Vice Chairman/CEO and GE Vice Chairman Robert C. Wright is joining the board of directors of EMI Group Global Ltd., EMI’s holding company, MusicWeek reports. EMI chief Roger Faxon said he was looking forward to working with Wright and added, “His deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing media, and his demonstrated success at building a business that combined the best of creativity, technological acumen and business discipline will be invaluable to EMI as we move forward. Plus, he promised me a complete set of 30 Rock DVDs, so I’m stoked, obviously.” (4/1a)
